I tried to give my husband a suprise party for his birthday but he weasseled it out of me.  He had a smurk on his face when talking about if I was going to through him a party and I yelled, "who told you!"  I of course did just then when I said it.  I cant keep secrets from that man no matter how much I try.

Marriage

Are you blindly reinforceing your spouces bad behavior.  I have a few stories not of mine so I wont share but watch what you are reinforcing.  If you dont like a behavior try punishing them for the behavior by taking something away not giving them something they want that makes the behavior rewarded and stronger.

Myself

My friend let me borrow her copy of What To Expect When You Are Expecting.  It was a very good movie about diffrent typess of modern relationships.  I even cried like a little school girl.  It is very emotional for women that have struggled with miscarriages and infertillity.  I would recommend this movie also as a comedy to women that have not has kids because it show how all pregnancys are diffrent.

Marriage

This morning I realized something very important.  When my husband and I were newleyweds and I had a dream about him cheating on me I would be angry in the morning at him because of what happened in the dream.  Last night I had the same type of dream but I killed him in the dream.  I was not angry at him in the morning either.  I was happy and wanted to be intimate with him.  Things change over 8 years of marriage for the better.  Killing your spouse in a dream decreases your anger at them.

Children

My husband has the worst timing.  But since this is titled children I'll get to the point.  Children have the worst aim.  I was trying to nurse my son to sleep last night and noticed he looked like he was going to throw up.  I asked my husband to get me a towel so I could catch it.  He didn't move fast enough and I got throw up all down inside the front of my shirt.  I love my boys but being covered in throw up is not fun.

Myself

So a couple saturdays ago I went to an adoption confrences.  It was amazing.  Michael and I have the desire to grow our family through adoption for many reasons.  I had an experience while their that if we adopt it might have to be an open adoption which hasn't been part of our plan.  But I guess plans change and we do what we can.  No news on if there is a child avaliable for us yet.
